Eve had the great honor of acting as a member of the New York State Electoral College pledged to vote for Hillary Rodham Clinton as President of the United States. There were several notable dignitaries who were electoral college members including President Bill Clinton, NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo who acted as President of the NYS Electoral College, NYC mayor Bill De Blasio, NYC council speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, and others. It was an incredible honor to be one of the few selected citizens to fill the role of an elector. Here are some photos from the event.
Established in 1996, Korean American Civic Empowerment (KACE) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization devoted to mobilizing the Korean American community in the areas of voter education, advocacy, developing young leaders, and grassroots organization of the community. Commemorating the 1st Korean-American Day in the city, the New York City Council hosted a press conference where various Korean-American organizations were invited to celebrate the historic day for 100,000 Koreans residing in the Greater New York area. As an attendee representing the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY), Eve Guillergan, Esq. gave remarks about the significance of the day and her commitment to the community.

During panel discussion, Ms. Guillergan spoke on immigration law and its current problems that are experienced by immigrants around the nation. Today's event also marked the opening of Migrant's Center, which was established to help immigrant communities throughout New York City.
