Syrian individuals who are in the US can apply for Temporary Protected Status during a period between 3/29/2012 and 9/25/2012.
The USCIS will be holding a teleconference on 5/8/2012 from 1pm to 2:30pm to discuss who is eligible.
Individuals who get TPS can obtain work authorization to remain in the US.
