The USCIS is putting a hold on the International Entrepreneur Rule, which is an Obama administration program that would have benefited foreign entrepreneurs. The program would have gone into effect next week, giving USCIS discretionary authority to "parole in" entrepreneurs for a period of 2 years to oversee and grow a business in the US. The entrepreneurs start up businesses should show substantial and demonstrated potential for rapid business growth and job creation. The delay is being slammed by the Venture Capital Association and the tech industry. The government is placing the hold with thought of eliminating the program.https://techcrunch.com/2017/07/10/venture-capital-association-slams-trump-administrations-delay-of-the-international-entrepreneur-rule/
